This makes me realize how I am on track by investing early even in a small lot, saving my money even if it's not that much, pay my bills on time, and still have money to use because I don't splurge too much on the things that I want but I don't need. Lucky because I have good friends that whenever I don't have extra money and I refused to joining them when they eat out, they still understand me. Thank you for making me realize that those discipline and sacrifices I made paid off somehow. 🥰

3 things keep me broke even if I made good money:
Cigarettes'
Eating out
&
More food.
I drive for doordash, been 3 months, made over $5,000 ask me where it is?. Every time I was paid, yes paid bills but i noticed today, I Am addicted to eating, I eat, and eat and have to eat again, so as i get paid, i waste a good 40-50 on food take outs for myself.
I need to stop this habbit.
& at night I get 1 beer and a pack of newports, where I live they cost $14.00 bucks, this is so dumb, I tell myself this and still do it again.

I used to spend money on designer bags and high end makeup, just because my friends have them. Then, I began to invest around age of 28. now in my mid 30s, I still regret that I wasted so much money on designer brands.

I've got a stream of income I use in settling my bills, it is an online trading (crypto) business which is currently making me more than $20k weekly it's called an advance asset trade, if anyone is interested in making good income online . I can send you some more info on how it worked for me.

My friends are huge spenders, they buy things they dont need. I'm frugal, only buy used, but I also significantly have more money tucked away then they do. I also have zero debt/mortgage, own my car, and have money in investments. All my credit cards are fully paid every week, and only use my credit cards for air miles points. My friends make more than I do but I'm considerably financially richer.

Twenty years ago we paid off all debt which included credit cards, mortgage, and car loan. We have a very nice lifestyle as a result. Our net wealth continues to increase even though we do what we want. Our retirement income is around 7 digits. So paying one's self first as you say is correct.

I currently have 401k with adp , if I change my company can I rollover from adp? Also my employer doesn’t contribute to 401k I still opened one because it’s a target date retirement fund that will still fetch me money. Is that smart thing to do ?

Pay yourself first = saving and investing money. Savings is .01%. Investment is likely better with modern numbers.

Some people I know actually have nice a things and/or travel without going into debt.
Also, I don't think it's wise to keep all of your money in one institution. Anything can happen such as suddenly closing all your accounts and not letting you have access to your money such as Chase has sometimes done.
